Peppermint Schnapps Liqueur

There is nothing that goes better with hot chocolate than  peppermint liqueur. 

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of white sugar;
  • 1 jar light corn syrup (16 ounce);
  • 2 teaspoons peppermint extract ;
  • 2 cups vodka.
  • 80 mL of white sugar;
  • 1 jar light corn syrup (450 g);
  • 10 mL peppermint extract ;
  • 475 mL vodka.
Directions


Step one: Place the 2 quart pan over the heater. Add sugar and  corn syrup and do not make the temperature medium. 

Step two: While the sugar is dissolving, you have to stir in order not to get burned. 
Step three: When it is ready, you can remove from the hob and pour the vodka. 
Step four: At the end, you have to let it cool, but it is good to be covered with something. After that add the peppermint extract and strain it into a sealable bottle.

The recipe is enough for 10 servings
Time to make:
Time for preparing 40 minutes.
