Hibiscus Tea with Vodka and Citrus

The cocktail includes Hibiscus Tea and that’s why is very good for the summer season. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of vodka;
  • 1 cup of ice;
  • 4 cups of water;
  • sugar (depends on your taste or you can add 1/3 cup of sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice;
  • 2 tablespoons  fresh lemon juice;
  • you can use the following teas: dried rose petals either rosehip, hibiscus, or Red Zinger tea bags. 2 cups of dried sweetened hibiscus flowers. 

 

  • 240 mL of vodka;
  • 240 mL of ice;
  • 950 mL of water;
  • sugar (depends on your taste or you can add 80 mL of sugar)
  • 5 mL fresh lime juice;
  • 10 mL  fresh lemon juice;
  • you can use the following teas: dried rose petals either rosehip, hibiscus, or Red Zinger tea bags. 475 mL of dried sweetened hibiscus flowers. 
Directions

Step 1: First you have to mix the hibiscus flowers, water and sugar.
Step 2: Over heat them in a medium saucepan at medium-high heat. 
Step 3: While boiling you have to stir from time to time until the is dissolved. 
Step 4: After that let it get cool and add lime juice, lemon juice and vodka. 
Step 5: Take a tall pitcher, remove the flowers from the tea and add ice and strain tea. Make sure, you will cool it before serving.

The recipe is enough for 4 servings

Time for preparing 40 minutes.
